If you know me in person, knowing how much I love Switzerland, you were probably expecting this post.
Honestly, I don’t remember where any of these quotes first came from, but right now, they are reaching you from my little notebook of quotes.
◦ We all come from the sea, but we are not all of the sea. We, children of tides, must return to it again and again.
◦ Just because you feel it, doesn’t mean it’s there. Just because you’re scared, doesn’t mean fear exists.
To give some brief information: The movement of Minimalism started in New York, late 1960s, to present itself as “cool over dramatic” in many art forms. Minimalist artists and scholars believed that with fewer material and fewer possession, comes the limpid and the clearer life.
For what they have taught me, this post is dedicated to my mom&dad.
After spending the first 8 years of their marriage traveling all around the world, these two individuals decided to have me. Obviously, I changed their style of living in an enormous way. Apart from all the huge changes a baby brings; at first, you would think that with me, they wouldn’t be able to travel as much as they once did. But you are wrong. They had me in an airplane going to Switzerland when I was just 3 months old. However, I like to believe that with me coming along, they learned to live a life that was totally different to their previous lives and that made them see everything in a whole new way.
You know those places that make you feel out of time & place, right? The ones that make you feel comfortable, relaxed and peaceful outside your own home.
Drink more water. Seriously. I can’t stress this enough but you should be drinking lots and lots of water.
Just like you, I heard about the benefits of drinking water for my whole life. But the thing is, only after so many years of not caring about those, I now am aware how much it truly can benefit you. For a couple of weeks now, I’ve been tracking my water intake and try to drink as much as I can. And it seriously helped, with any and every little thing.
As the flowers start to bloom, my favourite season finally came.
Having a ghostly white skin, I have always hated the sunny weather since it instantly burned my skin and turned me into a lobster. Ever since I can remember, from spring to fall, every single day I have had to put on sunscreen, which I hate. Probably, I am one of the most anti-sun people you can ever see. So, as you can understand by now, I am not going to talk about tanned skin or how much I appreciate the physical benefits of the sun. This post is going to be about the one thing I love about the sunlight that just makes me love spring.
